The Dolomites

DAYS 4 - 6
Verona
Departing the mountains, you’ll enter one of Italy’s most spectacular cities. To all who arrive, Verona reveals itself layer by layer, from its ancient Roman amphitheater to the winding canals of the Adige River. In a moment of Shakespearean romance, discover Juliet’s balcony tucked into a cobbled courtyard. You’ll go beyond the city, exploring the enchanting vineyards of Valpolicella to savor Italy’s coveted Amarone, one that will ruin you for ordinary wine. A captivating day of nature and history also awaits in Sirmione and Lake Garda, as you cruise turquoise waters in a lakeside adventure that is entirely your own.
DAY 7 - 9
Bologna
The journey continues aboard a luxury train to Bologna, the food capital of Italy. Upon arrival, you’ll quickly see what the hype is about in this culinary mecca. On an exciting day trip, explore the hills of Emilia-Romagna to taste bubbly Lambrusco, artisan Parmesan, artfully aged balsamic vinegar, and savory prosciutto di Parma. The delicious deep dive continues as you are invited into an idyllic farmhouse in the countryside. Led by a local family, learn to prepare some of the region’s most beloved dishes. The meal is every bit as wonderful as the conversation on this experience, filling your belly and your cup.
DAYS 10 - 11
Milan
The dazzling city of Milan greets you for an epic send-off. In a setting that is both chic and historic, explore one of Italy’s most fabulous destinations. A moment of fashion and glamor beckons as you discover the extraordinary boutiques of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. On your final day, get up close and personal with the iconic Duomo in all its Gothic splendor. You’ll also witness one of Leonardo da Vinci’s most impressive works: The Last Supper. Standing before this masterpiece is deeply moving; an experience that offers an unforgettable sense of presence. As the sun sets over the Navigli district, sip an aperitivo for a perfect end to your Italian adventure.
