DAYS 1 - 3
Rovinj
Your flight touches down in Venice, and the journey begins with a scenic transfer to Croatia. Pause in the chic Italian port city of Trieste for a leisurely lunch, then enter Rovinj, Istria’s romantic jewel. From your beachside hotel, the first moments are yours to rest, soak in the sea, and bask in the Adriatic sunshine beneath towering pines. Later, you may wish to get lost in the cobblestone labyrinth of the old town, where colorful buildings hug the coastline. On the third day, a delicious, guided immersion in the countryside awaits. Led by a professional guide, you’ll have a private tasting at an acclaimed local winery, followed by an authentic truffle-hunting expedition through fertile woodlands.
DAYS 4 - 5
Plitvice
Leave the coast behind as you travel inland to experience Croatia’s staggering natural beauty. Begin with a leisurely morning in Rovinj followed by a private transfer to the heartland of Plitvice. The evening is unplanned, allowing you to peacefully unwind among verdant forests. Next, you’ll explore awe-inspiring landscapes in Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander along wooden boardwalks over crystal-clear streams, past sixteen interconnected terraced lakes, and a dramatic display of cascading waterfalls. After capturing innumerable photos and reveling in this lush paradise, you’ll be whisked away south to the vibrant city of Split.
DAYS 5 - 6
Split
Split is where modern Mediterranean life pulses within ancient Roman walls. Upon arrival, the first moments are yours to wander sun-bleached marble alleyways, sip wine on the Riva promenade, and to dine at a seaside taverna. The next day brings history to life on an exclusive, private walking tour with a deep dive into the monumental Diocletian’s Palace, a living UNESCO World Heritage Site. That evening, you’ll enjoy a hands-on, small-group cooking class as a chef teaches you to make traditional Dalmatian cuisine paired with fine Croatian wines.
DAYS 7 - 8
Hvar
The fun continues in the sun-drenched isles of the Adriatic as you board a ferry to Hvar. The first afternoon is one of gentle exploration to settle in, perhaps exploring the Venetian architecture of Hvar Town or watching yachts glide into the port. After that, the sea beckons on a small-group boat tour showcasing the best of the archipelago. You’ll cruise pristine waters, explore hidden coves along the rugged coast of Hvar, and swim in the secluded bays of the Pakleni Islands. This collection of emerald islets offers a pristine natural paradise unlike any you’ve ever seen.
DAYS 9 - 11
Dubrovnik
Your grand finale unfolds as you cruise past rugged coastlines to arrive in Dubrovnik, the magnificent “Pearl of the Adriatic.” After arriving, fall in love with the Old Town, traversing its limestone streets as evening lanterns glow in the fading light. The next morning is free to explore to your heart’s content, walking the monumental stone walls or riding a classic cable car. The afternoon includes a small-group food tour to sample regional treats, gourmet cheeses, and traditional Dalmatian cuisine. In a spectacular last excursion, you’ll be treated to a private boat tour of the Elaphiti Islands. With the wind in your hair, discover quiet fishing villages and hidden caves, pausing at a local winery to toast this unforgettable journey.
