DAYS 1 - 3
Cairo
Your flight touches down in Egypt’s mesmerizing metropolis. The first moments invite you to rest, unwind, and to do a bit of shopping in the trendy Zamalek District. The following morning, you’ll uncover the city’s complex layers, venturing to the desert plateau of Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser before taking in the architectural brilliance of the Islamic Quarter. In the 600-year-old Khan El Khalili Bazaar, allow the scent of spices and the glow of golden lanterns to envelop you in sensory wonder. The next day, marvel in awe at the Great Pyramids, ride a camel across the sand, and come face-to-face with the enigmatic Sphinx. You’ll also explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archive in the world dedicated to a single ancient civilization.
DAYS 4 - 6
Nile River Cruise
The trip continues south along the Nile to Aswan. During the journey, you’ll tour the striking Philae Temple, a water-bound sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Isis. Your day concludes with the magic of watching a glowing sunset from a traditional felucca sailboat, with a stop at Elephantine Island. Next, set off on a luxury cruise as your balcony suite overlooks Egypt’s sacred river of antiquity. The first full day introduces the monumental legacies of the Pharaohs at the riverside Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, followed by stops at the Crocodile Museum and the remarkable Edfu Temple. Your evenings are full of traditional Nubian entertainment, whirling dervishes, and more.
DAY 6
Luxor
Your cruise brings you to the heart of historical immersion on Luxor's west bank. Here, you’ll explore the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, coming face-to-face with the Boy King himself: Tutankhamun. Marvel at the dramatic Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the few recorded queens of Egypt, then visit a traditional alabaster workshop to watch local artisans shape the same luminous stone used by ancient royal families. Your day concludes with a visit to the striking Luxor Temple under the twinkling night sky; with one deep breath, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time. The following morning, you’ll continue your journey east, discovering Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious site in the world.
DAYS 7 - 9
Sharm El Sheikh
Just when you think Egypt has revealed all its secrets, you discover the dazzling seaside charm of the Red Sea Riviera. The first moments belong to you and you alone during a blissful afternoon of relaxation: sinking into a beach lounger and soaking up the sun. Your coastal exploration accelerates on day two with a boat trip to the pristine waters of Ras Mohammed National Park. As an option you can explore White Island, often called the Egyptian Maldives, to swim and snorkel over stunning coral reefs teeming with marine life. Spend your final day relaxing on the beach at your luxury resort.
