Read moreYou arrive in Venice like a movie star, the city parting around your private mahogany speedboat as ornate palaces slip past and the whole improbable, shimmering place announces itself. Over eleven days, you’ll peel back Italy layer by layer: cobblestone mornings in Florence, a hilltop lunch deep in the Tuscan countryside, the Amalfi Coast’s cliffside terraces with a cold glass of wine and nothing but sea in f ront of you. Rome after dark, glowing and alive, its twothousand- year-old stories rising up around every corner.
The moment you land, the city reaches out for you. Your private mahogany speedboat cuts through the canals, past grand, colorful buildings, and boats of all sizes. Spend your first day getting gloriously lost in the backstreet neighborhoods and secret squares that most visitors never find. On day two, skip the queues at St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, then, as the light goes golden and the city quiets, step into a private gondola and let Venice show you its most intimate side.

A luxury train carries you south to Florence, where you'll be staying in the heart of the Renaissance, rooftop pool above the ochre skyline, the whole extraordinary city spread out below you. Tonight you'll make pasta from scratch, roll it out with your own hands, cook it, plate it, and sit down to eat every course of it with three very good wines. Tomorrow, you'll stand in f ront of Michelangelo's David and understand, for the first time, what all the fuss is about.

With over a million air miles in my lifetime, I can definitely say the vacation WAC Travel planned for our 50th wedding anniversary was the best trip we have ever experienced. My wife and I have both traveled extensively during our careers, but this trip was expertly planned and executed. The hotels were beautiful, well appointed and extensively maintained. The service was five star and the meals were exceptional. Each hotel, driver and guide personally knew Hilary and they ensured we had a once in a lifetime experience.
Unfortunate that only 5 stars is the limit here! We just returned from our 2nd WAC Travel trip to Italy – and it was EVERYTHING we could have asked for and more. They meticulously map out your vacation in great detail and offer unforgettable options for each destination. The app was a welcome addition, and we can’t say enough about all of our transfer drivers – they always early or on-time, are courteous and very helpful. The food tour in Rome is an absolute must, as is the lunch and wine tasting in Tuscany. Can’t recommend them enough!
This itinerary starts from $7,150 per person for six travelers, rising to $7,790 for two. Pricing includes boutique hotels, luxury trains, private transfers, and selected dining. International flights are not included.
June and September are ideal months to enjoy both cities and the beach. July is the hottest month, and April to May are the wettest. For cooler temperatures consider October.
Our signature itineraries are designed to be taken as they are. If you have a specific vision, that’s exactly what our bespoke journey service is for. Bespoke trips are built from the ground up around your preferences, and start from $20,000 per couple.
One of the world’s best!
Venice and Positano are among the most atmospheric places on the planet to celebrate a new marriage. This itinerary features a boat tour under the Faraglioni arch to the island of Capri, candlelit dining, and a sunset gondola ride.
A group tour runs on fixed dates, and you are traveling with strangers. A private itinerary runs entirely on your schedule, with your group. Every trip we design is for your party only. Some of your individual tours are small group.
You will be given the phone numbers for each of your drivers and guides to reach them on local time. Our team is available during EST hours. We reconfirm every reservation before you leave, to minimize the chance of problems in the first place.
Your 35% deposit (plus applicable flights) confirms your booking with us. The final balance is due 60 days prior to your departure, and you’re able to pay by credit card or bank transfer. (Pro tip: you receive a 3% discount for paying via bank transfer!)
During your travels, our expectation is that you will have one large (up to 50 pounds) rolling suitcase and one carry on bag per person. If you have train or ferry travel, we would not recommend exceeding this amount, as it would hinder your boarding and disembarking.

We’ve been there.
Every hotel, tour, and experience we recommend has been personally vetted by our team. We don’t send you somewhere we wouldn’t go ourselves.
Our connections are yours.
Years of relationships with exceptional guides, trusted drivers, and the right people on the ground across Europe and Africa.
Nothing gets left to chance.
Before you travel, we reconfirm every booking, every transfer, and every detail to make sure the pieces fit together exactly as planned.
Someone picks up the phone.
While you’re away, we’re available. If something shifts, we handle it so you don’t have to.
Your time is the point.
We take care of the complexity so you can be fully present from the moment you arrive.
